Trudy’s Celebrates Diez Y Seis With Great Food, Music, Giveaways
Celebrate Mexican Independence Day at Austin's iconic Tex-Mex eatery and enjoy mariachis, festive drinks, grito contests, and more.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX—Celebrate Mexican Independence Day with delicious food and amazing drinks at Trudy's, Austin's iconic Tex-Mex eatery. Come out for a lively celebration featuring a festive green, white and red margarita and the largest (44 oz.) Mexican Martini in Austin available for purchase.
Visit Trudy's Tex-Mex South and North Star locations all day on Wednesday, Sept. 15 and Thursday, Sept. 16 and a great atmosphere, including Mariachi performances, giveaways and traditional Grito contests held through the night, where guests shout as long as they can for a chance to win $50 gift cards to Trudy's. The Grito contest is open to all ages, and take place at 7:45 p.m. at the North Star location and 9 p.m. at the South Star location on Sept. 15 and Sept. 16.
