Austin Free Intro to Stand-Up Comedy 101 Scheduled

The virtual class offers insight from acclaimed writers and instructors on ways to develop comedy skills and build confidence.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — As people spend more time indoors amid the coronavirus, many are discovering new hobbies and interests they may have not had time to explore before. In that vein, an upcoming virtual event may spark interest standup comedy.

Greg Dean, "The Professor of Stand-Up Comedy," invites members of the community to a fun virtual event for those wanting to hone their comedy skills. Austin Free Intro to Stand-Up Comedy 101 will give participants the chance to learn techniques to help perform stand-up comedy ultimately leading to becoming more confident in daily life.

The free virtual event will take place Thursday, June 25, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., an no experience is necessary to participate. The introductory class will offer valuable insight and plenty of opportunities to laugh and learn.
