Virtual Presentation Offers Advice On Building A Rainwater Garden

EarthShare Texas and Ron Filan present an hour-long presentation on rainwater barrels, building a rainwater garden, and related projects.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX —Spending time at home presents the perfect opportunity to begin a project that will yield opportunities to enjoy your surroundings in the months ahead. EarthShare of Texas and Ron Filan present an hour long virtual presentation and Q & A discussing materials for rainwater barrels, building a rainwater garden, and other rainwater drainage options that are appealing and protect the value of your home. The virtual event scheduled Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. and suggested donations $10-$20 will go toward advancing the mission of EarthShare Texas.

Ron Filan is an American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA) certified rainwater practitioner and has worked on a range of greywater/rainwater projects, ranging from backyard projects to full campus-sized projects. EarthShare of Texas (ESTX) is the The Environmental Fund for Texas and conserves natural resources and builds a healthy and sustainable environment by leveraging monetary contributions to our member organizations, employers, and the community.
