Virtual Walk Raises Money For Susan G. Komen

Virtual More Than Pink Walk invites the community to take part and raise funds for breast cancer research and provide care for survivors.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — The Susan G. Komen its Virtual More Than Pink Walk is an opportunity to raise money to fund research, provide care for survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer, and save lives through the work in the community to take action against breast cancer.

The Opening Ceremony will begin on Facebook Live at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27. If your schedule or the weather interfere, you can walk later in the day or another day that week. Participants may walk solo, with family, socially distanced with your team, friends, or neighbors, or with loved ones across the country via phone call or FaceTime.

The Susan G. Komen Virtual More Than Pink Walk challenges all participants to 6000 steps, which can be tracked on the MORE THAN PINK Walk App to earn badges! Walk, jog, run, or bike! Any way you move, have fun, be strong, and make a difference! Walk in your neighborhood, on a trail, in the park, or even on the treadmill.
