Virtual Workshop Helps Writers Explore Impact Of Creative Writing
Writing to Wellness is an online event focused on the use of poetry as a tool for writers to navigate trauma and promote healing.
PFLUGERVILLE, TX — The community is invited to a discussion-based workshop designed for writers to use poetry as a tool for healing when navigating trauma, and hosted by DMV poet C. Thomas. Writing to Wellness helps writers with helpful tips and advice on productive ways to navigate trauma through expressive forms of creative writing, how to advocate for others and how to build a safe space for self-care.
Scheduled on Monday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. and offering additional dates and times, the virtual workshop invites all those looking to learn more about the power of writing alongside poet, host, author, orator, teaching artist, a Darkness to Light’s Authorized Stewards of Children® Facilitator, and 2019 Finalist for Poet Laureate of Alexandria, C.
