Virtual Workshop Offers Insight On Songwriting For All Levels
The workshop takes place over the course of four-weeks and covers a range of topics to help songwriters create and distribute their work.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX — As more people spend time at home amid the pandemic, many are discovering new hobbies or talents that were previously unexplored. For the more musically-inclined folks, there will be a unique opportunity to uncover your songwriting skills with a four-week, free online songwriting workshop presented by Dear Soul Music Co.
Using Your Unique: Virtual Songwriting Workshop offers a workshop experience for songwriters at all levels via Zoom with instruction by singer-songwriters, Arsena Schroeder and 1 Way North with guest instruction by Stellar-Award winning, Curt Keyz. Participants may register for FREE via Eventbrite. The interactive and collaborative workshop will run each Saturday from August 8 - August 29 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. and will include:
- Week 1: Intro to Songwriting: Finding Your Unique
- Week 2: Songwriting Components + Structure
- Week 3: Copyright, Distribution, & Performance Rights Organizations
- Week 4: Q&A with Curt Keyz & Class Presentations
Selected participants will have the chance to perform their work in-studio at the September 17 Unplugged+Live Virtual Concert Series featuring headliners Curt Keyz and Nathan Storey. For more information and to register for the virtual songwriting workshop, click HERE.
