Vodka For Dog People Works To Promote Dog Adoptions Across U.S.
Tito's Handmade Vodka has teamed up with nonprofits dedicated to transporting strays to loving forever homes throughout the country.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX—As the pandemic continues impacting communities across the country, interest in pet adoptions has reached a fever pitch. Austin is one of the most dog-friendly cities in Texas, but unfortunately, throughout the Southern U.S., natural disasters and lax spay neuter practices have paved the way for thousands of strays and overcrowded shelters.
Through donations and hands-on volunteer work, Austin's Tito's Handmade Vodka and its Vodka for Dog People program has partnered with Wings of Rescue, Pilots N Paws and Mission Miracle K9, to transport dogs to Northern regions of the country where demand is higher and availability is lower. The network of nonprofits is on a mission to pairing dogs to loving owners. Whether than includes a cross-country drive with six dogs in tow, or flying a plane over state lines with fifty pups, these dedicated nonprofits stop at nothing to offer strays a shot at finding their forever homes.
