Webinar Teaches Intro To Bookkeeping, Accounting For Creatives
Austin Music Foundation and The Accountable Artist will host a 2-part webinar for creative entrepreneurs to learn accounting practices.
NORTH AUSTIN, TX —The Austin Music Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit arts organization whose core mission is to strengthen, connect, and advance the local music industry and community through educational programming, professional development, and focused mentoring, will host an introduction course in bookkeeping and accounting for creative entrepreneurs on Wednesday, July 1 from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday, July 8 from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Presented by The Accountable Artist, the 2-part webinar series will offer creatives the basics of accounting including Part 1: Accounting Theory on Wednesday, July 1 from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Part 2: Posting and Reporting Transactions on Wednesday, July 8 from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Designed for all those who run their own business, much of the information will be designed for independent artist and musicians, freelance industry professionals, music photographers, and other creative-oriented businesses.
