Writers' League Of Texas Hosts Online August Third Thursday

WLT hosts its monthly Third Thursday with an August webinar focused on the subject of Texas, and how to write about the storied state.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — The Writers' League of Texas (WLT), a thriving statewide community of writers that work to hone their creativity and craft, making connection and discovering valuable resources while supporting the literary arts in Texas, will host its monthly Third Thursdayprogram with a free online event for all to enjoy.

Featuring discussions on a range of themes related to the craft and business of writing, August Third Thursday: Writing About Texas will focus and a webinar on ways to broach the subject of writing about Texas through its history and many complexities. This month's distinguished panelists include David Bowles, Michael Hall, and Mary Helen Specht as they discuss writing about the Lone Star State, and will be moderated by WLT Executive Director, Becka Oliver.
