Yard Sign Design Contest Open To Austin Area Youth

Creative Action invite area kids in grades K-12 to use their creativity to create yard signs promoting kindness and community.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX —As part of Creative Action's end-of-year fundraising campaign and during National Bullying Prevention Month, the youth of the community is invited to participate in the EVERYONE BELONGS Yard Sign Design Contest, and use their creativity to draw an idea of a welcoming and kind community, what bravery and standing up to injustice looks like, and how together we can inspire generosity and community spirit to take care of one another.

The contest open to youth in the Greater Austin area in the following age groups:K-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-9th, and 10th-12th grades, may submit an 8 1/2 x 11 hand drawn and/or a digital design with entries accepted between Oct. 1 through Oct. 31. Landscape orientation is required, and one winner per age group will be chose and the winning designs will be made into yard sign, which will be distributed to Creative Action supporters and to the broader community.

One entry per person will be accepted. To submit a design, complete the entry form HERE and upload a high-resolution scan/photo of the artwork. The artwork file should be JPG, PNG, or PDF format. For more information, click HERE.
