An Elderly Man Is Murdered, Police Want Answers
An officer patrolling the Briarcliff Apartments found Pedro Munive beaten to death in the parking lot.

PASADENA, TX – An 85-year-old man who was out collecting cans, was found beaten to death outside of an apartment complex and police are looking for his killer. Pedro Munive was found dead at about 6:45 a.m. Sunday in the 4200 block of Shaver Street.
An officer who was patrolling the Briarcliff Apartment complex discovered Munive’s body in the parking lot. Investigators said Munive, who collected cans in the area for extra money, was brutally attacked and suffered severe injuries to his head, face and neck.
Police released photos of a white or Hispanic man with tattoos seen walking away from the area. Police believe the man may have information about the killing.

The man is either white or Hispanic, with dark hair and tattoos on his left arm. One of the tattoos appears to be a skull wearing a hood. He is believed to be between 5-feet-8 and 5-feet-10 and weighs about 200 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477 or the Pasadena Police Department at 713-477-1221. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
