Back-To-School Events Happening In Pasadena
The city and school district are working to ensure all students in Pasadena ISD get a healthy start to the school year.

PASADENA, TX -- Back-to-school season is right around the corner in Pasadena ISD, and there are events happening throughout Pasadena that will help get the kids off to a great start for 2018-19.
From Aug. 1 through Aug. 15, the City of Pasadena is hosting its annual Fill the Bus campaign to collect as many school supplies as possible.

- No. 2 Pencils
- Crayons
- Markers
- Erasers
- Highlighters
- Elmer's Glue
- Glue Sticks
- Spiral Notebooks
- Composition Notebooks
- Notebook Paper
- Facial Tissue
- Hand Sanitizer
Pasadena ISD will host its Back-to-School health fair from 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 11 at Strawberry Park, 1104 Parkside in Pasadena. The health fair provides free immunizations for all school-aged kids who are not covered by private insurance.
Students can also enjoy fun events and will receive a free backpack with school supplies, while supplies last. The Houston Food Bank will also be providing free groceries during the health fair.

Parents can stay up to date on what’s coming up for the 2018-19 school year by clicking the Back To School tab on the Pasadena ISD webpage.
The tab includes the school district calendar and menus, the student code of conduct, rules for student dress code, bus route finder, immunization requirements per grade, and other back-to-school events.
The first day of school in Pasadena ISD is Aug. 20.
