Fatal Crash, Search Underway For Other Driver In Harris County

PASADENA, TX— A search is underway for a driver involved in a fatal crash early Saturday morning in Spur 330 in Bayville, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

The crash happened overnight at 7221 Spur 330, Gonzales said. One car rolled over, ejecting and killing the driver. The other driver fled the scene; police are actively searching for that driver.

Gonzales did not release any information about the make and model of the car police are searching for.

The East Freeway exit at Spur 330 will be closed during the investigation, Gonzales said.

The fatal crash on Spur 330 comes just hours after two were killed in a crash on Beltway 8 Friday evening. That crash closed the beltway in both directions for several hours.
