5K And Kids 1K Raises Funds For Beloved Round Rock Park

Runners are invited to a family-friendly 5K and Kids 1K in Old Settlers Park to raise money for Round Rock's Play for All Abilities Park.

ROUND ROCK, TX —Enjoy the beautiful Round Rock Spring weather, while participating in a fun and family-friendly event designed to raise funds for one of the community's treasured parks. The Lion's Run for the Park - 5K and Kids 1K on Saturday, March 28 begins at 8 a.m. with proceeds benefitting the Play for All Abilities Park, and offering a great opportunity for friends and neighbors to come together for a great cause.

The family 5K is ideal for all runners with a course set in the popular Old Settlers Park, and begins at 8 a.m. Kids will have their own opportunity to show off their running skills with the Kids 1K kicking off at 9 a.m. Perfect for kids of all ages, the Kids 1K is a short run or walk around the lake at Old Settlers Park and will include great prizes for kids at the end.
