Baylor Scott & White Hosts Virtual Seminar On Pain Management

Attendees may register for a virtual discussion offering insight to patients for using Chinese medicine as an effective way to manage pain.

ROUND ROCK, TX —According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), it is estimated 50 million adults experience chronic pain in the United States. As a result of communities offering limited access to care amid the COVID-19 public health crisis, many patients are left asking what kinds of consistent treatment options may be available.

In an effort to help patients become better informed and learn ways to manage their pain, Baylor Scott & White Health will host a virtual discussion on managing pain. Healthspeak Education Series: Managing Pain will be presented on Wednesday, July from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. CDT via Zoom. The hour-long discussion will focus on the types of pain experienced related to injuries, prior surgeries or arthritis and will feature Ashley "Dee Dee" Oved, MAcOM, LAc, acupuncturist offering insight on the use of Chinese Medicine for pain management.

Attendees are invited to RSVP at BSWHealth.com/HealthSpeak or calling 1-844-BSW-DOCS (279-3627). Registered attendees will receive instructions on how to join the virtual event with a confirmation letter/email once they RSVP. For more information about the free virtual seminar, click HERE.
