Benefit Run Advances Awareness About Domestic Violence, Assault

Brave Alliance hosts a family-friendly fun run/walk to raise money and promote awareness for domestic violence and sexual assault.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Brave Alliance —a Georgetown-based non-profit providing free medical forensic examinations, and advancing awareness throughout communities about sexual assault and domestic violence —invite the community to Walk A Mile In Their Shoes on Saturday, Oct. 12 beginning at 9 a.m. Brave Alliance is a SAFE (Sexual Assault Forensic Exam) ready facility serving Central Texas in Williamson County, and supports Bell, Milam, Lee, Bastrop, Travis, Blanco, Llano and Burnet Counties.

The fun run/walk includes a 1-Mile Walk, 1-Mile Run, and a Family Fun Run and will be held in Round Rock, TX. The event welcomes participants to enjoy a family-friendly event while working toward educating the public about important issues that impact our communities. Kids ages 12 and under enjoy FREE admission, and Brave Alliance welcomes your donation as an opportunity to increase reach and further the mission of the organizing.
