City Of Round Rock To Begin Videoconferencing Meetings

In accordance with Gov. Abbott's declaration to avoid public gatherings, Round Rock to live stream their meetings via Zoom as of April 1.

ROUND ROCK, TX —Beginning on April 1 and in accordance to the proclamation issued by Governor Abbott suspending open meetings in light of the COVID-19 public health crisis, the City of Round Rock will implement videoconferencing for public meetings via Zoom. This effort helps advance the goal of limiting face-to-face meetings and exercise social distancing.

Videoconferencing will allow City Council members and board/commission members to attend meeting and continue with the business of serving the Round Rock community. The public will be able to participate in meetings (when applicable) such as opportunities to speak at citizen communication and public hearing. All public meetings will continue to be live streamed on the website and can be accessed at roundrocktexas.gov/replay or roundrocktexas.gov/tv and broadcast live on Spectrum Channel 10 and U-verse Channel 99. To learn more about how to watch or offer input at future meetings, click HERE or contact Sara White, City Clerk, at (512) 218-5404.
