Community Event Explores The Benefits Of Journaling

Mindful Journaling Session invites the community to participate and learn how journaling improves mental and emotional well-being.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Think of journaling and your thoughts may go to your school-age days when an English or writing teacher may have suggested the practice to help organize your thoughts as a way to improve retention for an assigned story or book. These days, journaling has a whole new meaning and has gained popularity with wider audiences thanks to the effectiveness reported by those who participate in the practice.

In recent years, psychologists have shared the many benefits of journaling, including helping individuals reach a range of goals, improving quality of life, and connecting feelings and thoughts. Many journaling enthusiasts discuss feeling an enhanced sense of well-being, and for others, keeping a journal has led to improved mental and emotional clarity.

Whether you're new to journaling, or wish to discover how effective journaling could benefit you, Courageous Coaching, LLC invites the community to its Purge Through Ink: Mindful Journaling Session taking place on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. at Old Settlers Park Lake, 1501 Harrell Pkwy., Round Rock, TX 78665.
