Coronavirus: Virtual Town Hall Gauges Economic Outlook For Texas

Texas Monthly and the Texas Business Hall of Fame will host the online event featuring a Q&A on impact and recovery to Texas economy.

ROUND ROCK, TX —As Texas braces itself to gauge the full economic impact of COVID-19, industry experts are working to assess the challenges faced and those still to come as a way to better inform the community. The Texas Business Hall of Fame in partnership with Texas Monthly will host its virtual Town Hall: An Economic Outlook for Texas on Thursday, May 7 from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

The virtual event will feature a Q&A with Richard Fisher, former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Texas, discussing the challenges facing the Texas economy. Participants will have the chance to ask questions on the COVID-19 challenges to the U.S. economy and their implications for Texas, as well as the routes to economic recovery.
