District Bands Take To The Field And Showcase Their Talents

ROUND ROCK, TX — The Festival of Bands, now in its 20th year, brings bands from 16 District Round Rock ISD middle and high schools to perform in what has become a favorite musical tradition that draws more than 4,000 community members to the event. Students from across the District give their all to showcase their talents and represent their school's musical achievements.

The Festival of Bands is an opportunity for families to enjoy the sights and sounds of each performance from concert and marching bands and color guard teams. This year, the event will be held at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex located at 10211 W Parmer Ln., Austin, TX 78717 on Monday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. with tickets available online for $7/adults and $5/students.

On Monday, Sept. 30, band members from 16 District middle and high schools will take the field to perform in a Round Rock ISD musical exhibition tradition, Festival of Bands, in its 20th year. The event held at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex will begin at 7 p.m.

The spectacular sights and sounds of Festival of Bands draw more than 4,000 community members to celebrate the musical achievements of Round Rock ISD students, in the District’s instrumental music programs.

Through the generous support of Festival of Bands sponsors, with sponsorship range from $200 - $400, the District is able to support students in need of financial aid for private lessons, fine arts enrichment, and support staff. In addition, sponsorship helps support Round Rock ISD schools and the arts.
