Fan Drop Off Parade Benefits Central Texas Residents

ROUND ROCK, TX —The community is invited to a fun and unique way to celebrate summer and help the less fortunate in the community with the Summer Fan Drive Drop Off Parade on Friday, July 10 from 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. CDT and 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. CDT. The fan drive event is a no-contact activity where participants to help neighbors with funds or fans amid the sweltering Texas summer heat.

Participants are invited to get create and show their spirit by decorating their cars, vans, trucks, pets and kids as they drive to deliver new boxed fans for Central Texans without the means to afford running their air conditioning or those without air conditioning. KXAN and Central Texas Honda Dealers will have partnered to host the event, and donations will benefit the countless residents including the elderly who are enduring hardship this summer.
