FREE Community Shredding Event Taking Place In Round Rock

Community event offers free confidential document shredding and helps participants protect identity and privacy.

ROUND ROCK, TX -- The RJF Team, a local Round Rock realtor, will sponsor a FREE Community Shredding Event on Thursday, March 1 from 4 PM - 6 PM. Professional shredding service provider, Shred Nations, will manage the event that will include on-site shredding.

Participants will be able to shred confidential documents containing signatures, account numbers, social security numbers, or medical or legal information, as a way of protecting identity and privacy.

Items not allowed include Paper: telephone books, hardcover books • Trash: food waste, bottles, glass, cans, inks, dyes, paints• Metals: 3-ring binders, license plates• Plastics: plastic bags and packing materials, computer discs, CDs, DVDs, backup tapes, hard drives, videotapes, transparencies, ID badges, microfiche, microfilm, x-rays • HAZMAT: biochemical waste, sharps, toxic substances, flammables, explosives • Hardware: computer, printer and photocopier parts.
