Halloween Guide: Your Access To Round Rock Events And Activities

Check out some of the Halloween-themed events happening this month around Round Rock.

ROUND ROCK, TX — With Halloween just around the corner, it's always a good idea to plan ahead and find the coolest and most fun ways to celebrate the holiday. Fortunately, Round Rock will host a bevy of events and activities designed to spook and delight audiences of all ages. Check out some of what to expect around town this Halloween.

  • It's a Halloween Mini Sign Workshop: Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. This mini workshop lets participants select a design from the available options. All materials provided and instruction gives you step-by-step to create a beautiful piece for your home or for a gift. Choose from a variety of paint and wood stain colors in the workshop.   • Spooky Party Llama All Ages: Sunday, Oct. 13 from 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. This class is open to kids and adults. Enjoy an afternoon creating unique art with the kids.   • Family Movie - Goosebumps 2: Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. Families are invited to a movie event a the Round Rock Public Library with a special showing of Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. This free event is open to the public. Round Rock Public Library, 216 E Main St., Round Rock, TX 78664
  • Halloween at Bass Pro Shop: Saturday, Oct. 19 - Thursday, Oct. 31 at 12 p.m. Get a jump on Halloween beginning Saturday, Oct. 19, when Bass Pro Shops hosts a family (and pet-friendly) event for all to enjoy. Have your free photo taken with the Peanuts Gang (wooden pop up display) and enjoy giveaways and other great activities including a Halloween Costume Parade Contest (Oct. 31). 200 Bass Pro Dr., Round Rock, TX 78665
  • Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest: Thursday, Oct. 24 - Thursday, Oct. 31 at 12 p.m. Decorate a pumpkin or gourd as a book character or with a literary theme and drop it off at the Round Rock Public Library children’s desk for display from October 24 – October 31. Library staff will vote for the best literary pumpkins on Thursday, October 31, 2019. The winners will receive a Barnes and Noble gift card!   • Halloween Party (ages 18 months and over): Monday, Oct. 28 from 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. or Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. (Pre-registration required) The Round Rock Public Library is throwing a Halloween bash! Children (ages 18 months and older) and their adults are invited to enjoy stories, songs, treats, and Halloween fun. There will be a large-group story time, treat exchange, snacks, and dancing time.
