Here are the top three stories today in Round Rock:

  1. The meeting announcing the conclusion of the investigation of the Round Rock Independent School District Superintendent was canceled. The meeting was originally going to be held on Feb. 10 but was abruptly canceled hours before it was to start. School board officials have reported that the decision to cancel the meeting was not due to the contents on the agenda but because one of the Board trustees fell sick with COVID-19 and could not attend the meeting.(Austin Chronicle)
  2. The Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex will host a Williamson County vaccination clinic this weekend. The announcement was shared with parents of the Round Rock Independent School District. Registration for all doses in the vaccine regime of COVID-19 is available through the Texas Public Health Vaccine Scheduler but walk-in appointments are accepted on a conditional basis. Please bring your Photo ID, insurance, and vaccine card to the clinic. (Community Impact Newspaper)
  3. According to new data from the National Association of REALTORS, Round Rock homes appreciated an average of 25.8 percent. The appreciation gain was among the highest yearly price gain in the report. The increased appreciations are a sign of the seller's market that has eager buys and limited inventory. (RisMedia)
