Museum Explores Hispanic Heritage In Williamson County
The Williamson Museum on the Chisolm Trail celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with children's activities and interactive exhibit.
Round Rock, TX — National Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity for Americans to celebrate the contributions, history and culture of American citizens whose ancestry comes from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Observed each year from September 15 - October 15, Hispanic Heritage Month explores the stories, struggles and triumphs of a collection of cultures and highlights diversity and its significance within the fabric of our society.
The Williamson Museum on the Chisolm Trail invites the community to its Hispanic Heritage Exhibit on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The Museum offers exciting hands-on educational programs to the public through innovative exhibits, tours and outreach. The Hispanic Heritage Exhibit will include children's activities on a come and go basis from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and admission is free and open to the public.
