Online Author Talk Discusses Women In Texas History
Angela Boswell will offer insight about her book "Women In Texas History" and explore the contributions of Texas women throughout history.
ROUND ROCK, TX — The community is invited to a fascinating online discussion on the women that shaped Texas history, with a glimpse into their contributions as explored from all perspectives. To Write: Women in Texas History by Angela Boswell narrates the entire span of Texas women's history, with Boswell offering insight from her book beginning with Native American women who inhabited what is now Texas thousands of years ago, to profiles on women such as Barbara Jordan and Ann Richards.
The online event scheduled Saturday, August 8 from 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. will feature an author talk with Angela Boswell and her book's insight into the rich history of Texas. Women in Texas History is available online to order or as an e-book, and the virtual talk is hosted by Oakwood Chapel, a place to connect, heal and reflect, and open to all offering historical tours, exhibits, events and memorial services.
