Penfold Theatre Performs Memorable Radiocast Of Holiday Classic
Round Rock audiences enjoy an imaginative retelling of It's a Wonderful Life through a radiocast featuring five talented Penfold performers.
ROUND ROCK, TX — Families will delight with the return this holiday season of the It's a Wonderful Life Classic Radiocast. Directed and adapted by Nathan Jerkins, the radiocast offers a new spin to the Frank Capra Christmas classic and takes audiences back in time to the 1940's.
Featuring players of the fictional KPNF radio station, audiences listen to a radio performance of the heartfelt story of George Bailey and journey with him through despair, hope and redemption. Five talented actors tell the story of It's a Wonderful Life through dozens of characterizations and live foley sound effects. The result is an imaginative retelling of the beloved holiday masterpiece that explores universal themes such as the vulnerability and strength of the human spirit.
