Round Rock Invites Residents To Recycle Christmas Trees

Recycling center to give away small tree seedlings to participants.

ROUND ROCK, TX -- The City of Round Rock has scheduled a Christmas Tree Recycling event for Saturday, December 29, 2018 and Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Round Rock Brush Recycling Center from 9 AM - 6 PM at 310 Deepwood Drive.

The City will give away small tree seedlings (100 per day/one per vehicle) and volunteers will be available to help unload Christmas trees from vehicles. Residents are asked to remove decorations, nails, wires, ornaments, tree stands, lights, and tinsel before dropping off their tree to the recycling center. Trees will be shred to fine, usable mulch and will be offered to Round Rock residents FREE and available for pick up at the recycling center. Mulch will also be available for purchase by contractors and non-residents for $5 per cubic yard.

The recycling center is open Monday - Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM and closed on Sundays. For additional information, call 512-218-5540.
