Round Rock Library Hosts Virtual Teen Book Club
Teens ages 12-18 are invited to an online afternoon book club event to engage and connect with other avid young readers in your community.
ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock-area teens (12-18 years old) are invited to the Round Rock Public Library and the Teen Book Club virtual event to enjoy an afternoon discussing the 2010 debut children's novel by Rob Buyea. "Because of Mr. Terupt" is told through the eyes of seven students, it is about one year in the life of a fifth-grade class and their new teacher at the fictitious Snow Hill School.
The Teen Book Club scheduled on Tuesday, August 18 at 4 p.m. with participants invited to meet virtually, via Microsoft Teams, to connect and engage with other avid readers in the community. All registered participants will have a copy of the book available for library pick-up. Book selections are chosen for teens, however, parents are encouraged to review the book and its content for appropriateness to their young reader.
