Round Rock Public Library Invites Job Seekers To Virtual Event
Resumé Review gives job seekers a chance to discuss ways to improve their resumé and make is stand out from the competition.
ROUND ROCK, TX — A resumé is the first impression a prospective employer will have of you. Job market experts often emphasize a resumé is the most critical element of any job search. A clean and polished resumé will likely receive a more favorable review from hiring managers, and is likely to be what lets a candidate advance in the hiring process.
Job seekers will have an opportunity to have their resumé reviewed via Zoom by the helpful library staff at the Round Rock Public Library. For those who have not had results with their current resumé or if you're in need an updated version, or simply need someone to look it over and offer feedback, this is the virtual event you need.
Participants may register for a time slot between 4 p.m and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14. Once registered, you will receive an invitation to email your resumé and have a librarian discuss ways to improve your resumé and make it stand out through a Zoom meeting. The librarian will offer suggestions on how to create a resumé that sets you apart from the competition and will help you land a job interview.
