1. All Round Rock Independent School District schools will have a delayed start today, Thursday, Feb, 24. Due to inclement weather, all classes and bus routes will begin two hours late and all early morning before school activities are canceled for the day. The district told the community to stay updated through its website and social media. (KXAN)
2. The Oregon-based coffee chain, Dutch Bros. Coffee, has announced their second Round Rock location at 3589 N. I-35 will open on Mar. 4. The first Round Rock location opened in September. (Community Impact Newspaper)
3. Filmmaker Chris Charles Scott III created a new three-part documentary called "An Ode to Joy" which follows the Baylor University Men’s Basketball team from 2003 to 2021. Scott "knew this was a story that had to be told" and it's "more than rags to riches, more than the underdog, more than tragedy turned to joy." "An Ode to Joy" will play at Round Rock's Central Baptist Church on Friday, Mar. 11 at 6 p.m. (SicEm365)
