RRISD Education Plan Offers Updates On 2020-2021 School Year
Round Rock ISD launched its Reimagining Education website for parents/caregivers to learn what's in store for area schools amid COVID-19.
ROUND ROCK, TX — As school districts across the country strategize ways to prepare for the 2020-2021 school year safely, the Round Rock ISD has made its education plan available for parents/caregivers to review ahead of the first day of classes. The Reimagining Education website offers an overview on how the District expects to apply on-campus safety and health protocols, on-campus and virtual student support services, and what the virtual experience will look like and how teaching will occur on campuses throughout Round Rock.
Superintendent Steve Flores, Ph.D. message on July 14 provided a glimpse into what the community may expect from the modified education plan, and emphasized the evolving process by virtue of the ever-changing public health conditions. As parents and caregivers prepare their students for the new school year, the community is encouraged to check often for updates from RRISD via the Reimagining Education website, as well as the District's Facebook and Twitter pages.
