Here are the top 3 stories today in Round Rock:

  1. Starting this week, masks will no longer be required at Round Rock Independent School District schools. Some parents prefer to keep masks mandatory "for the safety of our children." The school district said they will close classes if there is an outbreak of COVID-19. (Fox 7 Austin)
  2. The Round Rock Classic tournament has been moved up to this weekend due to weather. The Arkansas Razorbacks will play against Indiana, Stanford, and Louisiana. Razorback coach Van Horn likes to play in Texas because he recruits there and thinks "it makes Arkansas more attractive because we’re gonna be playing against their friends, we’re gonna be playing in their town." (KARK)
  3. Round Rock native, HBU senior infielder Jake Miller, has been voted Southland Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week. He had multiple hits and a home run throughout the three games against Rutgers. (HBU Huskies)
