🌱 RRISD Seeking K-5 Dual Language Teachers + Commercial Projects

Here are the top three stories today in Round Rock:

1. Like many school districts in the area, Round Rock ISD has been contending with a major staff shortage in recent months. That's why the district is hosting an in-person and virtual job fair on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Specifically, RRISD is looking for new and experienced K-5 Dual Language teachers for the 2022-2023 school year, with an opportunity to earn up to $7,000 in added stipends. 2. Plans for two Round Rock commercial renovation projects have recently been filed with the city. First, the Planet Fitness at 200 Palm Valley Blvd. is planning a $500,000 interior renovation that is expected to be completed by Apr. 1. The Sherwin Williams Paint Store at 17280 RM 620 is also planning a $250,000 "tenant improvement" project with an estimated timeline of Apr. 1 to Aug. 1. (Community Impact Newspaper)
3. "Texas flavors made from locally grown ingredients." That's what Greenhouse Craft Food's menu is all about. Rob Snow, owner of the Old Settlers Boulevard restaurant, says he sources his menu items from organic, antibiotic-free, and local producers whenever possible so he can create dishes with ingredients that he "feels good about feeding to his family."
