Round Rock Event Showcases SWAT, EMS, Other Emergency Vehicles
Round Rock Public Safety Day lets residents meet first responders and check out equipment and vehicles they use for emergency response.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock Public Safety Day is a community-wide event where residents meet local public safety workers from the Round Rock Police Department, Round Rock Fire and Wilco EMS and check out equipment used to respond to local emergencies.
The Saturday, Sept. 28, event will yield a day of free fun for families from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., when they will learn about the Round Rock SWAT team, traffic unit, crime scene vehicles, Round Rock fire engines, Hazmat equipment and demonstrations of a simulated live vehicle extraction.
The family event will feature games, face painting, a photo booth and other activities. Members of the Round Rock Noon Kiwanis Club will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast served inside the Baca Center. Round Rock Public Safety Day will be staged at the Baca Center/Centennial Plaza Complex located, 301 W. Bagdad Ave.
