- The City of Round Rock continues to provide updates to residents and businesses affected by the storm. (Press Release Desk)
- Round Rock residents Jennifer Dayton and her husband, as well as others from their church, helped their neighbors on Saturday. Dayton said, "We actually live on the other side of the neighborhood. We got lucky we didn't actually get any damage from the tornado, but we wanted to help our neighbors that did." New Texas resident Heather Compton said, "They say, everything's bigger and better in Texas, and that doesn't stop at hospitality and loving your neighbor. So that's just, it's just phenomenal to be a part of it." (KVUE)
- On Mar. 27, the Texas Rangers optioned outfielder Leody Taveras to AAA Round Rock. Though Taveras reportedly had a shot at making the Opening Day roster, he was expected by many to start the year at Round Rock. Josh Smith and Davis Wendzel are also going to AAA Round Rock and will share shortstop and third base duties. (Lone Star Ball)
