Virtual Class Offers Yoga & Singing Bowls Session To Ease Stress

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center will host an hourlong online yoga class to explore the benefits of movement and sound.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Whether you're looking to wind down a long and stressful work week, or would like to kick off the start of a new week feeling re-energized and focused, Yoga & Singing Bowls is a virtual event that promises to calm and ease. The Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center will host the hour-long yoga class via Zoom and will feature ATX Yoga Girl Cynthia Bernard leading the class through a morning of movement, mindfulness and the music of Tibetan and quartz singing bowls and chimes.

The virtual yoga class will be held Sunday, August 2 beginning at 9 a.m. and is an opportunity to slow down and connect with your breath and prepare your body to receive the transformational benefits of sound. Singing bowls and chimes are used to help participants attain a deeper level of relaxation, helping to reduce stress and restore energy flow. The virtual class will offer 40 minutes of yoga, and 20 minutes of sound with all levels welcome to attend.

Registered participants will receive a link for the Zoom event via email 24 hours ahead of the virtual class. The online class is FREE for members, $15 for non-members. For more information, including link for tickets click HERE.
