Virtual Event Offers Exploration Into Sustainable Fashion
Threaded will host virtual day-long event featuring workshops, open studios, and an ethical marketplace experience.
ROUND ROCK, TX —Enjoy a fascinating and insightful day of workshops, open studios, and an ethical marketplace experience from the comfort of your home with [ Virtual ] Shaping Fashion: An Exploration of Sustainable + Ethical Fashion. The free, day-long event scheduled Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. will be live-streamed on Instagram and will include brand features and open studio tours, and registration gives participants access to the full schedule and the chance to secure a spot in any of the workshops and sessions.
With topics focused on the apparel industry and its global impact on people and the planet, the virtual event will offer insight into ways fashion contribute to negatively impact society, and ways producers and consumers can work to redirect efforts toward sustainability. The virtual event taking place ahead of Fashion Revolution Week features thought-provoking conversations and opportunities to engage and ask questions about sustainable fashion. Schedule includes:

Participants will have the option to register for the sessions of their choosing at checkout. To celebrate Fashion Revolution Week, participants will take a look at studios and discover local emerging designers and ethical brands, as well as learning about processes behind fashion and accessories collections.
