Virtual Workshop Helps Manage Anxiety, Emotions During Crisis
YWCA Greater Austin to host the virtual event using the Rising Strong™ program to help navigate emotions during the coronavirus pandemic.
ROUND ROCK, TX — Communities across the country have experienced a swell of anxiety and stress amid dealing with the uncertainty of coronavirus, or COVID-19. Processing the range of emotions can feel overwhelming, and finding ways to cope becomes a critical part of managing day-to-day life.
YWCA Greater Austin will host a free 90-minute workshop, Managing Anxiety + Emotions During Crisis, using the Rising Strong™ program developed by Brené Brown to explore consciously reckoning with our emotions and managing anxiety. Austin Board Co-Chair Jen Pavich will lead the presentation and is intended as a personal growth workshop led by Jen's efforts as a Feminist Life Coach, certified Brené Brown facilitator, writer, mother, and passionate human.
The virtual workshop scheduled Wednesday, April 29 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. will be offered via Zoom conferencing, and those with access are encouraged to use their cameras for a deeper sense of connection. To register or learn more click HERE.
