WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Residents are invited to join the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office for the lighting of the 7th Annual Tree of Angels honoring victims of violent crime on Tuesday.
The ceremony takes place on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. in the historic courthouse, 26th District Courtroom, 710 S. Main St., in Georgetown, Texas. The ceremony allows the community to remember families whose lives have forever been touched by violent crime, including with the dedication and lighting of an unadorned Tree of Angels.
Families, survivors of a violent crime, families with missing loved ones and friends of victims are invited to bring an angel ornament to place on this special tree. Participants will include families of homicide victims, law enforcement, state, county and local victim service agencies.
