Austin Parks & Rec To Give Away School Supplies
Aside from supplies, fun activities planned for Montopolis neighborhood kids at rec center on Friday, Aug. 10.
SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — The Austin Parks and Recreation Department will stage a back-to-school supplies giveaway event for Montopolis neighborhood children in South Austin this coming Friday, officials announced.
According to information found on a Facebook events page, the event is scheduled at the Montopolis Recreation Center, 1200 Montopolis Dr., from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Aug. 10. The school supplies giveaway will kick off the event, with other fun activities planned for the kids to follow.
Parks & Rec officials note that children receiving supplies must be present to receive them. Supplies are limited, so get there on time.
