Location: 7900 block of Cobblestone

The Austin Police Department (APD) Missing Persons Unit is requesting help in locating the suspect of an attempted kidnapping. The incident occurred on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at approximately 8 p.m. in the wooded area between Cobblestone and Cedar Elm Trail.

The victim was walking along a trail behind her residence when the suspect emerged from the woods. The suspect attempted to pull the victim into the woods away from the trail. The victim fought the suspect and was able to free herself.

The suspect is described as:

· White male

· 5'10"

· 40 - 50 years of age

· Medium build

· Shoulder length brown hair

· Light brown, unkempt, medium length beard

· "Very blue" eyes

· Wrinkles on his face and a sunburn on his skin

· Wearing really dirty white shirt and pants

· Smell of alcohol and body odor emitting from him
