Officials Say Fire at St. Edward's University Was 'Intentional'
The Austin Fire Department says the fire was intentionally set in a bathroom in the Fine Arts Building.

A fire broke out at St. Edward’s University in South Austin on Thursday morning.
Austin Fire Department Capt. Josh Portie says the “cause has been determined to be an intentionally set fire in a restroom. Fire damage was isolated to a bathroom of the Fine Arts Building.”
AFD estimates that cost to repair the damages to the restroom is $10,000.

There are no reported injuries.
St. Edward’s University officials initally sent a tweet to students saying the Fine Arts building is clear, but it’s closed for the day. Now Austin Fire officials say “the other classrooms in the building have been re-occupied.”
