Man Killed on South Austin Highway

The Austin-Travis County EMS is responding to a traffic fatality at the 1800 block of FM 1626 Road. The EMS is telling the community to expect road closures, and has asked drivers to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.

According to KVUE, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety said the person on the motorcycle lost control and went into oncoming traffic. According to the EMS, a man in his 60s was found dead on the scene.
