On February 26, 2022, at approximately 6:47 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a vehicle collision on US HWY 183/Riverside Dr. A Kia Sorento vehicle collided into a pickup truck. The occupant of the Kia remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 7:40 a.m. by Dr. Kahw Ja.
