Monday's Austin-Area Weather, Hour-By-Hour
Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Pflugerville and others nearby should escape the hit received by the Dallas area and the Panhandle.

While much of Texas is cleaning up from a battering of weather or still dealing with it, the Austin area looks to largely avoid any real threat, though we should expect some cold weather and decent winds.
Aside from the few snow showers forecast for about 11 p.m. Sunday, the weather looks to be pretty favorable.
After those snow showers hit, the skies should begin to clear of clouds, and the area should see sunny skies Monday by 8 a.m. Count on winds of between 15 mph and 20 mph, though, until they die down about 5 p.m.
