Police Investigate South Austin Shooting

Austin Police Department detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight outside of a South Austin bar.

According to officers, the shooting took place in the bar’s parking lot in the 4900 block of Burleson Road early Monday morning. The shooting victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The shooter took off from the scene in a vehicle, and officials are currently looking for the suspect. ADP officers are currently unsure of what sparked the altercation.
