SUV Slams Into a South Austin Bar
The bar is reported to be closed for an undetermined amount of time.
Austin night owls were in for an unexpected surprise on Thursday evening when an SUV crashed into a South Austin bar.
Doc’s Motorworks Restaurant, located at 1123 South Congress Avenue, suffered heavy damages last night when the SUV crashed into the bar.

The Austin-Travis County EMS did not report any transportations from the scene and said that all injuries were minor.

According to KEYE TV, a manager at Doc’s said they will have to shut down for an undetermined amount of time for repairs.

According to an Instagram post, the driver may have been apart of Uber - the ride-hailing driver company - but police have not given any further details.
