Take a Walking Food Tour of South Congress in Austin
South Congress is a mecca for foodies in Austin.

You know that feeling. You want to go out and eat in Austin’s famous South Congress neighborhood but you can’t decide which restaurant or food truck to dine at.
The solution is Austin Eats Food Tours, which offers a walking tour of many of the eateries on South Congress and South First Street.
“It’s a great epicenter for small local businesses and creativity. You find a great mix of food trucks, classic Austin restaurants and some higher-end, non-pretentious establishments as well,” Andy Potter, owner of Austin Eats Food Tours, told Patch.

The tour features about six to seven places over a 3-hour period. Guests get “more than a bite but less than a meal at each stop,” Potter said. “It’s a lot of food so come hungry.”
Austin Eats Food Tours has been in business for almost five years. They do food tours of other areas of Austin as well.
