Volunteer To Drive a Senior Around in South Austin

If you have some spare time and want to give back to the community, then consider volunteering to drive a senior around South Austin.

Faith in Action accepts volunteers to drive seniors to doctors appointments or to go shopping. There is an application form on their website. You need to provide driving information, including proof of insurance, and emergency contacts.

“Volunteers receive an email that describes the rides including location of rider, destination address, and time. The volunteer selects a drive that fits his schedule,” the group says.
